GICSA: dreaming and building a future for Mexico City

It all goes back to the 90’s, where uncertainty invaded de mind of citizens throughout the hole country. There was not hope for growth, and the economic situation seemed bad. One of the construction companies of Mexico City, GICSA, decided to take a different path and took great opportunities. They made everything to become the great company they are nowadays.

Building a future

In 1989, Abraham and Elías Cababie Daniel decided to change the family business sector and decided to build a modern industry, the tourist real estate. They had a textile branch and left it aside to start the construction of spaces that provide comfort and luxury.

In 1991, GICSA built its first shopping center in one of the most exclusive areas of the city, Polanco. Plaza Zentro is one of the most ambitious projects that the company has achieved, and the one that consolidated their business. With this, they established a new concept of commercialization and operation. 

In 2007, Mexico City had become the greatest exponent of architectural works developed by GICSA. They redefined the real estate field by creating luxury spaces like shopping centers, offices and shopping stores with a beautiful design and with a lot of innovation.

In 2018, GICSA wants to go further with the concept of entertainment. GICSA is the leading construction company in Mexico City because of the creation of interactive malls, where you can find luxury brands, as well as exhibition centers, amusement parks and residential units with amazing architectural design and advanced technology.
