In 1989, Abraham and Elías Cababie Daniel decided to change the family business sector and decided to build a modern industry, the tourist real estate. They had a textile branch and left it aside to start the construction of spaces that provide comfort and luxury.

In 1991, GICSA built its first shopping center in one of the most exclusive areas of the city, Polanco.
